Edison

Edison is Italy's oldest power company, currently number two in the electricity market (after Enel, historically Italy’s national power board), and the country's third largest gas operator (after Eni and Enel). In 2010, Edison's net electricity generation in Italy totalled 41.6 TWh, 15% of Italian demand, while the company’s gas supply amounted to 13.2 Gm3, 17% of Italian demand. In 2010, Edison's revenues totalled €8,867 billion, and its Ebitda was €1,471 billion Edison is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.


EDF Fenice

EDF Fenice is 100% owned by EDF. This company has a large number of power, heath, cogeneration and compressed air plants and related distribution grids in Italy, Spain, Poland and Russia, as well as offering environmental services. Historically linked to the industrial sites of the Fiat Group, Fenice was acquired by EDF in 2001. Today, EDF Fenice's activity is focused on energy and environmental services, particularly on combined heat and power plants, and trigeneration plants (electricity, heat and cold). In 2010, EDF Fenice's revenues totalled €473 million.

EDF EN Italia

EDF's activities in the renewable energy sector worldwide are carried out by a dedicated subsidiary, EDF Energies Nouvelles. EDF Energies Nouvelles is one of the world’s leading companies in this sector. EDF Energies Nouvelles is present in Italy through its 95% owned subsidiary, EDF EN Italia, which has been active in the wind power sector since 2000 and more recently in the photovoltaic solar sector.

EDF EN Italia is an integrated operator that develops, builds and operates industrial-scale plants, fully owned or in joint ventures with Italian partners. It is one of the major Italian operators in renewable energy.
